Program and Registration for the 2019 PACE Annual Meeting in Prague

The program of the 9th Annual Meeting of the Public Affairs Community of Europe (PACE) has been released (see here). The Conference is held in Prague (May 17 – 18, 2019) under the auspices of the Association of Public Affairs Agencies.

This year, PACE will debate the current legal developments on lobbying regulations across Europe and the need to share a common view on such issue, in order to promote a more homogeneous framework. PACE strongly stresses the positive role that transparent lobbying can provide on democratic participation. The annual meeting will be attended by various speakers from different sectors such as ministries, Parliament, business associations, NGO’s and academia.

The Public Affairs Community of Europe was established in 2011 with an objective of consultation between public affairs associations in Europe while comparing different national experiences with lobbying regulation and experience. Association of Public Affairs Agencies is represented by its Chairman Václav Nekvapil, who currently serves as a Vice-President of PACE.
