The Public Affairs Community of Europe (PACE), of which the Czech Association of Public Affairs (APA) is a member, held its General Assembly in Bucharest on 24 May 2024, following the 14th Annual Conference.

The participants elected a new leadership. Laura Florea of the Romanian Lobbying Registry Association was elected as the new President of PACE, succeeding Maria Rosa Rotondo of Spain. Václav Nekvapil defended his position in the Board. The other members of the board elected were Dominik Meier (De’ge’pol, Germany), Matti Van Hecke (Bepact, Belgium), Francesco Macchia (Il Chiostro, Italy) and Aristide Luneau (AFCL, France).

The members of the General Assembly also reviewed the activities of PACE in recent years and, as part of its new mandate, will focus on further expanding PACE to include additional members and associations, promote successful examples of regulation, or expand its activities such as educational and exchange programs within the association.

The new PACE leadership has also formally agreed on the venue for the next PACE Annual Conference to be held in Rome under the auspices of Il Chiostro in May 2025.
