APA at the 12th Annual PACE Conference in Brussels

On October 21 and 21, 2022, the 12th annual meeting of the Public Affairs Community of Europe (PACE) was hosted by the Belgian Public Affairs Association (BEPACT) in Brussels. APA was represented by its chairman Václav Nekvapil.

The main topics of this year’s PACE annual conference included the transparency of lobbying and best regulatory practices from various member states. The participants also discussed the actual role of lobbying in the legislative process or how to improve the reputation of lobbyists. Apart from representatives of particular national associations, Álvaro de Elera, a member of the cabinet of Vera Jourova, the Commissioner for Values and Transparency, participated in the panel discussion.
